The value of this page is not a prediction of the next mu-X’s features. It is a reminder to make a careful household brief before an exciting future launch arrives. Start with the people who travel most often, the luggage they bring, the roads they use and the support available when something goes wrong. Include the less glamorous numbers: insurance, service visits, tyres, child-seat changes, recovery equipment and the cost of an unavailable vehicle. When official Kenyan material eventually exists, use that brief to ask focused questions about seating, safety, towing, driveline, ownership costs and local availability. A later generation may be a major step forward, or it may not suit the particular family better than an available SUV. Low confidence keeps the forecast in proportion. It is a reference point for future research, not a destination for a deposit. Keep a note through an ordinary year: how often every row is used, what luggage does not fit, which road causes fatigue, how the current tyres wear, what a missed service visit costs and where support is needed. A later official mu-X can then be tested against facts rather than excitement. If its seating, driveline, safety, warranty and on-road cost make a meaningful improvement, it will earn consideration. If the current vehicle already meets the brief before that time, there is no virtue in delaying a necessary decision for an unconfirmed 2029-2030 forecast.
