General limitations

Hagalu is an independent new-car research and buyer-enquiry platform. We publish country-scoped model, derivative, specification, image and ownership information with editorial checks, but manufacturers, distributors, regulators and providers can change their information after a page is reviewed. No website can promise that every field is complete, current or error-free at the moment you read it.

Use Hagalu to prepare better questions. Before paying, importing, financing, insuring or accepting delivery, verify the exact vehicle and all material terms with the authorised seller, importer, lender, insurer or relevant public authority.

Country-specific prices and quotes

Hagalu keeps vehicle prices in the selected market's currency and does not silently convert a South African, Kenyan, Tanzanian or Ugandan amount into another market. A displayed amount is a research reference, not a binding offer. The page or price record may describe an ex-showroom amount, a recommended retail amount, a dated local amount or a price-on-application state; read the surrounding labels and source context.

• South Africa uses ZAR, Kenya uses KES, Tanzania uses TZS and Uganda uses UGX where those markets are selected.
• Tanzania derivative pages may be explicitly price on application. Do not replace that state with an overseas amount or an estimate.
• Uganda pages may show a verified UGX record, but the dealer must confirm the current price, stock, delivery charges, registration position and included equipment.
• Taxes, duties, registration, inspection, insurance, freight, delivery, accessories, dealer charges, financing costs and exchange-rate movements may be separate or may change.
• A model-family price cannot be applied to a different engine, body, grade, model year or drivetrain.

Before signing: request a dated written quotation that identifies the exact vehicle, amount, currency, inclusions, exclusions, delivery point, validity period and responsible legal entity.

Vehicle specifications and images

Specifications are organised by country, generation, lifecycle and exact derivative where evidence permits. The same model name can represent different engines, safety equipment, dimensions, colours, wheels, transmissions or warranties in another market. Images are editorial gallery references and are matched to the intended market and vehicle identity; they are not proof that a particular colour, trim or unit is in stock.

• Confirm the VIN-linked build, model year, derivative, equipment, dimensions, warranty and service support with the seller.
• Measured fuel economy, electric range and charging performance depend on test method, road, load, weather, traffic, driving style and vehicle condition.
• Safety ratings and regulatory claims belong to the tested vehicle, market and test date; do not transfer them automatically to another derivative.
• Generated or edited editorial imagery must not be treated as an official manufacturer photograph or a promise of physical stock.

Buyer enquiries and provider offers

Hagalu may help route a user-requested enquiry to a showroom seller, vehicle-finance provider or intermediary, insurer or insurance intermediary. This is an introduction, not a binding vehicle offer, dealership contract, credit application, approval, insurance recommendation or policy.

• Hagalu does not guarantee stock, delivery, a discount, finance approval, a rate, an insurance premium, eligibility or a response.
• The provider controls its own quotation, affordability or underwriting assessment, documents, fees, exclusions and contract.
• A buyer enquiry does not buy or change Hagalu's specifications, ratings, comparisons, pros, cons or verdicts.
• Share only the information necessary for the request. Do not send passwords, bank PINs, card credentials or unnecessary identity documents through a general contact channel.

Finance and instalment tools

Any monthly instalment, affordability or ownership calculation on Hagalu is an educational estimate based on the inputs and assumptions shown. It is not a credit offer, pre-approval, affordability decision, personalised financial advice or promise of a lender's terms.

Actual borrowing can include interest, fees, insurance, tracking, taxes, deposits, balloon payments, exchange-rate effects and provider-specific conditions. Obtain the formal documents from a properly authorised provider and check the total cost, not only the monthly amount. South African pages may discuss the National Credit Act; the applicable credit and consumer framework differs in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

Insurance information

Hagalu's insurance material is general education. It is not personalised advice, underwriting, a premium quotation, a policy, a claims decision or a recommendation that a particular provider is suitable. Premiums depend on the driver's circumstances, address, use, security, vehicle, claims history, excess and the insurer's assessment.

Read the full policy wording, exclusions, excesses, waiting periods, cancellation terms and claims process supplied by the authorised insurer or intermediary in the relevant country. South African references to FAIS, the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance or other local bodies are South Africa-specific and should not be treated as a Tanzania, Uganda or Kenya process.

Import, registration and ownership research

Import valuation, customs, inspection, registration, ownership transfer and roadworthiness rules are destination-specific and can change. A seller invoice, customs assessment, receipt, inspection certificate and registration record each serve different purposes. Match every document to the same chassis or VIN and use the current official route for the country and destination.

Hagalu does not calculate a final duty bill, approve an import, certify roadworthiness, verify seller authority or replace an independent inspection and professional advice. Obtain an itemised assessment from the relevant authority or qualified professional before shipping or paying.

Editorial independence and external sources

Hagalu may receive a lead or referral fee where a provider relationship exists, but commercial participation cannot purchase a specification change, higher rating, favourable comparison result or recommendation. See the Editorial Policy for source, correction and image rules.

External OEM, distributor, regulator and provider links are supplied for research. Hagalu does not control their availability, accuracy, privacy practices or future content and does not endorse an external transaction merely by linking to it.

Hagalu reviews and corrects verified errors under its published policy; reporting an error does not guarantee a particular outcome or response time.
