Vehicle image credits, generated artwork and licensing
This page distinguishes official media, Hagalu-created editorial imagery and third-party rights. A visible Hagalu watermark does not make an image official OEM photography or grant open reuse.

AI-assisted and generated vehicle images
Editorial rendering, never automatic OEM endorsement
Some vehicle images may be created or refined with generative tools under Hagalu’s direction. They are intended to represent a confirmed model, generation and country-relevant configuration, but they are not manufacturer photographs unless explicitly credited as such.
Hagalu reviews body shape, lights, grille, bumpers, wheels, tyres, brakes, badges, paint, interior layout and steering position. An image that materially misidentifies the vehicle should be corrected, regenerated or removed.
Usage terms
Viewing and linking are not republication rights
Republication
Copying, commercial reuse, redistribution, dataset use or publication requires written permission from every relevant rights holder.
No misrepresentation
Do not remove attribution, erase a watermark, create false manufacturer endorsement or relabel editorial artwork as official photography.
No open licence by default: unless an individual asset explicitly states otherwise, Hagalu-created imagery is all rights reserved. Third-party rights remain with their owners.
Discovery metadata
Credits remain attached to the page context
Where available, Hagalu publishes creator, credit, copyright, licence-page and acquire-permission metadata. Metadata aids attribution but cannot convert an OEM asset into Hagalu-owned media or guarantee a search-engine licensing badge.
Permission request
Identify the exact asset and intended use
Email contact@hagalu.com with the page URL, image URL, proposed publication, territory, duration, size, edits and requested credit. Hagalu will confirm whether it controls enough rights to respond or direct the requester to the appropriate owner.
Credit, accuracy or takedown concern
Provide evidence and the affected URL
Rights holders and readers can report missing attribution, inaccurate vehicle representation, confidential material or potentially unauthorised use. Hagalu will preserve the relevant record and assess whether to correct, relabel, replace or remove the asset.

Preparing-market image controls for Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda
Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda are right-hand-drive preparing markets. Images released for any of them must match the locally applicable generation, body, trim cues, wheels, lighting, grille, driving side and lifecycle status. A South African gallery is not automatically a Ugandan or other country-market gallery.
Official manufacturer media, licensed third-party work and generated or edited imagery keep distinct attribution and provenance. Generated imagery must be disclosed where appropriate and cannot be described as an official manufacturer photograph.
Manufacturer names and trademarks
Identifying a vehicle does not imply manufacturer endorsement
Vehicle names, badges, logos and other trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Hagalu may use them descriptively to identify the subject of independent vehicle research, comparison or commentary. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, publication does not mean the manufacturer, distributor or showroom sponsors, approves or endorses Hagalu.
Image availability on Hagalu is not an open licence to download, republish, sell, train a model on, remove attribution from or create misleading advertising with that asset. Permission depends on the rights attached to the exact image.
